The service, provided through a partnership between the Contra Costa Crisis Center, Eden I&R, and United Way is free, confidential and available 24 hours a day in 150 languages.
Signup for Wait Lists, Notification Lists, and Subscription Lists:
There are various affordable housing developments in the region however to apply for a unit you may have to first apply to be on the wait list. Since some wait lists are closed, it is crucial to subscribe to all notification lists so that you can apply as soon as the waitlists are open.

The Housing Industry Foundation (HIF) matches qualified applicants living in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties (particularly those in the education, non-profit and other community-based sectors) who fall in the 50-80% of Average Median Income (AMI) to affordable housing at up to 50% below market rates for at least 12-months (and possibly up to 2 or more years).
