The City of Foster City's workforce consists of approximately 185 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees working in about 80 job classifications.  The City has an excellent benefits program which includes twelve paid holidays per year; alternative work schedules (9/80); sick leave; PERS retirement; a flexible benefits program including medical, dental, vision, health and dependent care reimbursement accounts; and generous vacation accruals.
