Sports Wall of Fame

The Sports Wall of Fame, located in Sea Cloud Park, is a unique Foster City tradition. Each year, nominations are accepted between November-January. The wall is dedicated to recognizing outstanding contributions and commitment to Foster City youth in the spirit of sportsmanship, athletics, and teamwork. If you know someone who has played a pivotal role in your organization, nominate them! For nominations please email recreation@fostercity.org. Deadline for nominations is August 1st, 2024 inductions are September 28th.

Nomination Criteria

• Qualifying candidates for the Sports Wall of Fame shall have made a significant, lasting contribution to youth sports in Foster City; have exhibited good citizenship; demonstrated outstanding leadership; and have high moral character.
• Minimum of 10 years of youth or adult sports service in Foster City
• Nominee may be living or deceased
• Nomination must come from one of the Foster City sports groups: AYSO, Little League, PYSC, Pony and Colt, FCYSA, FCTP, At Large.
• A biography of the nominee must be submitted to the committee for consideration and contact information of the individual submitting the nomination.
