Seasonal & Summer Camp Information

Foster City Camps are always in season! Foster City Camps offer your child(ren) a one of a kind adventure over their vacation breaks during Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer for children in TK-8th grades. Please make your camp selections carefully noting age requirements, dates, times and the camp refund policy. Session dates are identified in the program description. Refunds, pro-rated fees, or additional child care will NOT be provided for those campers who choose not to attend a field trip (cost included). If your child has any special needs or medical conditions, please attach a note to your registration form and schedule an appointment with the Youth or Teen Coordinator. Staff will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your child's needs. Some field trips include water/swimming elements. Please notify a camp staff person if your child is a non-swimmer or has limited skills.

Registration Status

Please submit registration forms to the Recreation Center (650 Shell Blvd.) or scan/send to recreation@fostercity.org. Registration is on a first come/first serve basis until spots are filled. If you submit a registration form, you could be put on a wait list. Parks and Recreation Department will notify you if you have been put on the wait list and if a spot opens up.

  • Wild N' Wacky Winter Camp 2025: Registration for Wild N' Wacky Winter Camp will be available for registration October 23, 2024 for residents and November 4, 2024 for Non-Residents.

FUNtastic Fall Camp: K-5th Grade

Foster City has a GREAT camp planned for your camper's Fall Intersession! Our camp staff provides a safe environment for laughs, new friends, and days packed full of activities. Your child will have the intersession of their life as they participate in fun sports, active games, silly arts and crafts projects, crazy song singing, and much more! Campers should pack a healthy bag lunch, snacks, water, and sunscreen daily, as well as a big appetite for fun and adventure. It's time to sign up and head to camp!

Wild N' Wacky Winter Camp: K-5th Grade

There's sNOw other place your child will want to be than at Wild N' Wacky Winter Camp! Join us for 2 weeks of fun and exciting camp activities that will really blast the boredom during your child's winter intersession break! Keep your camper's mind active during their break as they learn and discover all through active play. Activities will include arts and crafts, games, cooking, and much more! Campers will even get to go on a field trip during the first week to exciting field trips around the Bay Area. Campers should pack a healthy bag lunch, snacks, water, and sunscreen daily. Don't get left out in the cold this winter, and register quickly as sports tend to fill up fast!

Super Duper Spring Break Camps: K-5th Grade

What in carnation is going on during your child's spring break? Spring into fun at Super Duper Spring Break Camp! Join us for two weeks of insane fun that will have your child coming home eager to share stories from the day's activities. They'll meet new friends, try super-duper new things, and more importantly, will have memories from camp that will last a lifetime. Keep your child's mind engaged through silly arts/crafts projects, playing a variety of outdoor and indoor games, and singing ridiculously funny songs. Camp will also include science projects, sports activities, cooking projects, and much more! Campers should pack a healthy bag lunch, snack, water, and sunscreen daily. Don't miss out on your opportunity for your campers to blossom this spring break, and register quickly as spots tend to fill up fast.

Kamp Koala: Entering TK or K

Kamp Koala is the perfect place for your kids entering TK or Kindergarten this summer! They'll love their mornings filled with stories, songs, games, and crafts. Campers will even have a chance this Summer to participate in a full day of camp! Our camp staff will provide a nurturing environment as your child discovers the joys of camp. Campers will get a chance to discover the area around them by taking exciting local field trips on Tuesdays (unless otherwise noted). All campers must be 4 years of age at the time camp starts, and must be fully toilet-trained. Kamp Koala is not a Summer preschool. No day of/onsite registration will be accepted. Campers should pack a healthy bag lunch, water, and sunscreen daily. An snack will be provided each day.

Camp Outback: Entering 1st-2nd Grade

Camp Outback staff wants you to register for an action-packed, fun-filled summer program! If you have a child entering 1st-2nd Grade, then Camp Outback is excited to see you this Summer! Campers will enjoy new and exciting themes each week of camp.This summer you'll find at camp everything from sports and games, art and crafts, silly song singing, camp skits, and much more! Campers will take one field trip per week (Wednesdays, unless otherwise noted) to unique and fun places all over the Bay Area. No day of/onsite registration will be accepted. Campers should pack a healthy bag lunch, snack, water, and sunscreen daily.

Camp Wayoutback: Entering 3rd - 4th Grade

Join our incredible staff this summer in Camp Wayoutback!  Specifically designed for 3rd & 4th graders, this summer campers will find  everything from sports and games, art and crafts, silly song singing, camp skits, and much more! Campers will enjoy new and exciting themes each week of camp. Campers will take one field trip per week (Thursday, unless otherwise noted). Camp Wayoutback campers will even have the opportunity to participate in our highly anticipated, and very popular overnight stay at The Vibe (670 Shell Blvd)  in August. No day of/onsite registration will be accepted. Campers should pack a healthy bag lunch, snack, water, and sunscreen daily.

Camp Breakaway : Entering 5th - 8th Grades

Camp Breakaway is for all teens entering 5th-8th grade! Come join the non-stop excitement and outrageous fun with our outstanding leaders. Campers will have blast participating in sports and games, creating art projects, and making new friends! Each week, we will visit some of the Bay Area's popular parks and attractions! Campers should pack a healthy bag lunch, snack, water, and sunscreen daily. No day of/onsite registration will be accepted.

Refund Policy

Full Refund: Full refunds, minus a $10 administrative fee, will be granted for request submitted five (5) business days prior to the start of the program.

Partial Refund: Partial refunds will be granted for requests submitted four (4) business days prior to the start of the program.  25% of the registration fee and a $10 administration fee will be assessed per session refunded.

No Refunds: Requests for refunds received after the start of the camp session will be denied unless they fall under the Satisfaction Guarantee Policy.

FAQs:

How do I know what camp my child qualifies for?

The camp your child qualifies for is based on the grade they will be entering the following school year. For example, if your child is going into Kindergarten they are only eligible for Kamp Koala. 

What date are the field trips?

Below is when camps are scheduled to go on field trips. Please note, changes might happen due to site availability. Any updates will be on the camp's activity calendar given out on Mondays.
