On August 10, 2022, the City of Foster City purchased 22 Workforce Housing Units developed in the Pilgrim Triton Master Plan development at 501 Pilgrim Drive, now known as "The Pilgrim". The Workforce Housing Program is designed to address the needs of first responders, public employees, and teachers in the very low, low, and moderate income household in order to make it possible for public servants to live near where they work.
On April 4, 2019, the Planning Commission approved the Use Permit and Tentative Map applications for Pilgrim Triton Phase C.
On December 22, 2017, Sares Regis Group submitted revised plans for Pilgrim Triton Phase C that modified the 2015 proposal to include 22 units of workforce housing and 70 for-sale townhouse units on 4.78 acres to replace the existing entitlement of 225,943 sq. ft. of commercial office and 17 townhouse units on 4.78 acres in the Pilgrim Triton Master Plan development.
