Here are resources for our Foster City residents:
Animal Issues:
- San Mateo Animal Control
-Foster City and SM County contracts with the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCS (PHS), a private non-profit organization, to enforce all animal control laws, shelter homeless animals and provide a variety of other services.
Neighbor Disputes
- Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center (PCRC)
-Offers mediation services for landlord/tenant and neighbor/neighbor disputes and training for community organizations
- Code Enforcement is one of the responsibilities of the Community Development Department in which codes, the standards and laws of the city, are enforced to assure that the City preserves the safety, health, welfare and appearance of the City
Child Seat Installation/check
- The CHP- Redwood City office [By appointment only: (650) 369-6261] and AAA (if you are a member) conducts car seat installations. The Foster City PD no longer conducts installations and checks.
- If you are a victim who has suffered physical injury or the threat of injury as the result of a crime, San Mateo County Victim Services may be able to assist you.
