Study Session to Explore Text Amendments to Required Parking in the Planned Development Combining District – August 6, 2020

On August 6, 2020, a Study Session was held to review a parking study prepared in conjunction with the proposed hotel at the vacant former Visa lot and to seek the Planning Commission’s direction regarding amending Foster City Municipal Code Chapter 17.36, PD Planned Development Combining District, Section 17.36.060, Off-Street Parking Requirements in a PD District, to allow greater flexibility in parking requirements beyond what the Municipal Code currently allows.
