Foster City’s skate park is now open and is suitable for both beginners working on the basics, and advanced skaters who want to improve their skills. Please note that the park is not supervised, participants skate at their own risk. Remember that helmets, elbow pads, and knee pads are required. Please read the skate park rules before enjoying it!

Foster City Recreation has a variety of rooms available to rent for birthday parties, meetings or other special events. Picnic areas are also available for reservation at one of our beautiful parks! Thank you for considering the City of Foster City for your reservation.
Please note if planning to serve alcohol at your event, the reservation must be made at least 30 days prior to your event date
Rooms are available for rent at each of the facilities below:
The Vibe Teen Center is located at 670 Shell Boulevard. The Vibe Teen Center is for the exclusive use of teen members, but is rentable on the weekends. The facility features a small multi-purpose room, kitchen, main floor, game room, and patio. You can rent the entire facility which includes all of the rooms or you can rent the half of the facility which include the kitchen, small multi-purpose room, and patio. The facility is suitable for large events, wedding receptions, corporate meetings, trainings, and community events.
The City of Foster City offers drop-in and after school programs at The Vibe. All programs are for middle school and high school aged students up to the age of 19 or until completion of the 12th grade, whichever comes first. The facility is open to both resident and non-resident teens. The Vibe also hosts a number of daily activities, special events and even teen trips which are open to all Vibe members.
