November 8, 2022 Election - City Council Candidates
General Municipal Elections to elect council members in Foster City are held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of each even-numbered year. The next scheduled election in Foster City for two Members of the City Council will be November 8, 2022. Elections Results will be updated on the San Mateo County website starting at 8:10 p.m.
CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATES
Any member of the public who meets the requirements below may run for public office in the City of Foster City
- Be at least eighteen years of age
- Be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State of California
- Be a registered voter of the City of Foster City
The filing period ended August 17. The filing period for write-in candidates is Thursday, September 12, 2022 through October 25, 2022. Write-in candidates must make an appointment with the City Clerk to obtain and file Write-In Nomination Papers, the Statements of Write-In Candidacy and other required documents between these dates.
