Intersection Improvements at Foster City Blvd / Metro Center Blvd and Foster City Blvd / East Third Ave (CIP 301-667)

The Intersection Improvements Project at Foster City Blvd. / Metro Center Blvd. and Foster City Blvd. / East Third Ave. will address the identified significant impact on the existing traffic due to the recent BioMed Development Project identified as the Lincoln Centre Life Sciences Research Campus Project. In additional the project will aid in reducing queuing at the East Third Ave. and Metro Center Blvd. intersections due to commuter cut-through traffic. The construction involves the reduction of the existing pork chop islands to allow for an additional right turn lane.

The City of Foster City invites bids for the Intersection Improvements Project at Foster City Blvd. / Metro Center Blvd. and Foster City Blvd. / East Third Ave. Project. The Engineer's Estimate for the project is $85,000. The City will receive sealed bids at the City Clerk’s office, located at 610 Foster City Boulevard, Foster City, CA 94404. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 10:00 am in City Hall. The deadline to submit bids is Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
