San Mateo County businesses are invited to the Green Business Academy workshops to learn about the Green Business Program and start the certification process. By participating in the Green Business Academy workshops, businesses receive assistance in implementing measures for waste and toxin reduction, environmentally preferable purchasing, water and energy conservation and efficiency, and pollution prevention. Implementing these measures help reduce long-term operating costs while showcasing environmental practices. Businesses that register to become certified will be eligible for free promotion, networking events, and referral to utility energy efficiency and water conservation rebate programs.
The two-part workshop will be held at the Burlingame Main Library:
- Friday, April 6th, 2018 -- 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (noon)
- Friday, May 11th, 2018 -- 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (noon)
