Bring the 'ohana (family) and celebrate the Polynesian culture at the Foster City Parks and Recreation Department's 14th Annual Polynesian Festival in Leo Ryan Park. This free event features outrigger rides on the lagoon, island-style music and Polynesian dancing in the amphitheater, and delicious food.
Need a night off from cooking? Grab your family and friends and enjoy a feast of spaghetti, salad, and garlic bread while you enjoy great entertainment! Show off your support of the Youth and Teen Foundation and our city's own Youth Advisory Committee. For $7 advanced tickets, visit the Recreation Center. Tickets are $10 at the door.

The Foster City Parks and Recreation Department strives to provide a variety of quality special events. Over the course of the calendar year, the Parks and Recreation Department leads approximately 20 community events, some of which occur on a monthly basis making the grand total of special events nearly 40 per year.
Here you will find all of the information needed for our recreation classes including current offerings, important dates, how to register, and our refund policy. Current classes are being offered virtually, outdoors, and in City facilities. We hope you can find something that interests you.
Grab your family and friends and get ready to embark on a fun adventure that will take you to all 24 of Foster City's parks! Download The Great Park Challenge Map and let the fun begin! Once you complete the map, turn it in to the Foster City Recreation Center during regular business hours (Mon-Fri; 8am-5pm) to receive a prize.
