The Foster City Police Department is excited to offer the Community Police Academy this Fall, in a virtual fashion! If you are interested in learning more about our local police department and connecting with other residents, apply now. The free, interactive 4-week course provides an inside look at local law enforcement for an experience that educates community members and offers transparency on how the FCPD operates. The academy will be held virtually via Zoom, but will contain all the same great information through a combination of presentations and interactive scenarios.

Class topics include:

  • Patrol Procedures
  • Investigations
  • Department Policies and Procedures
  • Officer Training
  • Justice System

The academy starts on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm and will meet virtually every other Wednesday on November 18, December 2, and December 16. Participants must be at least 18 years old and either reside or work in Foster City. Space is limited to only 25 seats, so we encourage you to enroll now! Applications are due Monday, November 2, 2020
