Shorebird Park Public Art Installation

The City of Foster City received a Housing-Related Parks Program grant to fund enhancements to the park system by way of public artwork. On June 27, 2017, a bronze sculpture by local artist Burt Brent was installed at Shorebird Park for the community to enjoy. This is the first of three art pieces to be installed at Shorebird Park. Artwork in our park system is characterized by bronze pieces that are either realistic or abstract in nature. It is a goal of the Foster City Parks and Recreation Department to connect the park system through artwork that tells a story and demonstrates the unique qualities of our community.
