Mother's Day 2020

Neighborhood Flower Hunt

In honor of Mother’s Day, join us for a fun activity that pays tribute to the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and special women in our lives by participating in a neighborhood hunt for flower bouquets! Hunt through your neighborhood the week of May 4 – 10 and see how many you can find!

Hunt Rules:

  • Print out and decorate a bouquet of flowers and hang it in the front window of your home by May 4th. If you don’t have a printer, create a colorful bouquet of flowers with any materials you have at home.
  • Walk around your immediate neighborhood and see how many bouquets you can find. Use the flower bouquet counter sheet to help you find at least 10 flowers!
  • Take photos during your hunt and tag us on Instagram (@fcrecreation) or Facebook.

Safety Rules:

  • Follow Social Distancing Guidelines
  • Only hunt with people in your household
  • Maintain at least 6 feet of distance between others
  • Stay in your immediate neighborhood
  • Cover your mouth/nose when out in public
  • If you don’t feel like walking, drive!
  • Don’t wait until Sunday!

The hunt lasts a week to make sure the streets aren’t overcrowded with people hunting

Have fun and stay safe!
