Serve Your Community – Join the Parks and Recreation Committee

Want to make a positive impact in Foster City? Serving on a committee is an opportunity for you to participate in local government and serve your community. The City of Foster City is currently accepting applications for the Parks and Recreation Committee to fill three vacancies. Term information is as follows:

  • Parks and Recreation Committee (three vacancies): Three-year terms, starting January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2026. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month.

This volunteer position is ideal for those who are interested in getting involved in local government, networking with fellow community members, and have a passion for Parks and Recreation programming.

Applications for these vacancies are due by 5:00 PM on Thursday, October 26, 2023. Applicants must be Foster City residents and are required to attend the City Council meeting on Monday, November 20, at 6:30 PM for official consideration.
