Innovation and Technology Advisory Committee and Audit Committee Openings

Do you have great ideas you want to contribute to make Foster City a better place to live, work, and play? The City of Foster City is looking for residents interested in serving a partial term from January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2019 on the following Citizen Advisory Committees:

• Audit Committee (one vacancy) – Meetings held twice per year in April and November
• Innovation and Technology Advisory Committee (one vacancy) – Meetings held the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m.

Applicants for the Innovation and Technology Advisory Committee must attend a committee meeting before attending a Council meeting for formal appointment by the City Council. The City Council will interview and formally appoint members to the two Citizen Advisory Committees at its regular meeting on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory. All applicants are considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Application forms are available at City Hall, by calling 650-286-3250, or can be downloaded from the City’s website at www.fostercity.org. Submit completed application forms to the Communications/City Clerk Department at City Hall, 610 Foster City Boulevard, Foster City, CA 94404 or to clerk@fostercity.org by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019.
