Free Document Shred Event for Foster City Residents

RethinkWaste.org and the City of Foster City have teamed up to hold a free document shred event for Foster City residents on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., or until trucks are full, in the City Hall parking lot located at 610 Foster City Boulevard.

Consumer fraud and identity theft are becoming more common in our communities. To raise awareness and promote fraud prevention, document shred events give Foster City residents the opportunity to have their confidential documents destroyed on site, free of charge, whether business documents or personal papers. There is a limit of 3 boxes per household.  Proof of residence will be required to participate.
