Foster City Congratulates Dante Hall on Appointment as Hercules City Manager

The City of Foster City congratulates Assistant City Manager Dante Hall upon his appointment as City Manager in the City of Hercules. His last day with Foster City will be on Wednesday, August 11.
Since his hiring in 2016, Mr. Hall has served as Assistant City Manager, Interim City Manager and Acting Parks & Recreation/Public Works Director in Foster City. Prior to that, he worked for the cities of Half Moon Bay, Moreno Valley and El Monte. In all, he has more than two decades worth of experience working in the public sector.
“It has been an absolute honor to serve Foster City these past six years. I want to thank the City Council, the City Manager, and the community for embracing me during my tenure,” Mr. Hall said. “Additionally, I want to acknowledge the tremendous efforts of City staff, whose relentless dedication and commitment to the community have given me so much pride in my role as Assistant City Manager. I care deeply about Foster City and will work very hard to ensure the best transition possible for this organization.”

The City of Foster City continues to strive to provide the highest level of service to the community, and is currently recruiting for two leadership roles in the organization, a Deputy City Manager and Public Works Director.
