Draft Climate Action Plan Update Available for Public Review and Comment

Foster City residents are invited to review the Draft Climate Action Plan Update and give feedback on how this plan aligns with the community’s vision of a sustainable future. The Draft Climate Action Plan Update is posted for review at engagefostercity.org/climate-action-plan and the deadline to provide comments to sustainable@fostercity.org is Monday, April 15.

A Climate Action Plan (CAP) outlines how to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while building resiliency. Foster City’s first CAP was adopted in 2016 and the current update was created with extensive community input and participation. The CAP is Foster City’s approach to combatting climate change while addressing current and future impacts.
