Citizen Advisory Committee Openings

Looking for a way to serve your community and be involved? Citizen Advisory Committees provide recommendations to the City Council on special issues, giving members an opportunity to participate in an important component of the City's policy-making process.

The City of Foster City is looking for residents interested in serving a full three-year term beginning January 2020 on any of the following Citizen Advisory Committees:

  • Audit 
  • Parks & Recreation
  • Traffic Review

Interested applicants are invited to submit applications by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2019. Applicants for all committees are required to attend the December 16, 2019 City Council meeting for consideration of official appointment.  Prior to December 16, applicants must attend a meeting of the committee to which they are applying.
