Celebrate Foster City with Summer Days! August 23-25

Carnival rides, food trucks, and live music? What more could you want on a gorgeous summer day in Foster City! Mark your calendars, the 3-day Summer Days festival takes place August 23-25, 2019 at Leo J. Ryan Park. 

Celebrate the Foster City community while connecting with family, friends, and neighbors. The multi-day festival will feature something for everyone including Moveable Feast food trucks, unique SF Etsy craft vendors, and even craft local beer tastings. 

“Summer Days is really about celebrating everything Foster City has to offer and all the things that make our community unique in a single event,” said Mayor Sam Hindi. “It’s a time to slow down, laugh with friends, make lasting memories, and soak in summer.” 

Summer Days highlights include:

  • Craft beer tasting
  • 20 Food Trucks
  • 80+ Craft Vendors Organized by SF Etsy
  • Sports Zone
  • Carnival rides and games
  • Community Stage featuring local performers
  • Free Saturday evening concert with Tainted Love
  • Chalk Art Zone
  • Paint in the Park 

“The Parks and Recreation Department is excited to create and implement this large community event based on years of experience coordinating other events and programs,” said Recreation Manager Tiffany Oren. “We’ve received community input on what people want and can’t wait for Foster City to experience the final event.”

Carnival ride ticket books and wristbands are currently on sale online or by visiting the Foster City Recreation Center at 650 Shell Boulevard. Participants must pre-register for the Chalk Art Zone and Paint in the Park activities. 

Proceeds from Summer Days will go directly into the City's Community Benefit Fund to be used towards future programs and events for all residents to enjoy.
