Water Distribution System Master Plan Study (CIP 405-668) and Wastewater Collection System Master Plan Study (CIP 455-662)

This project consists of the development of a comprehensive Water Distribution System Master Plan and a Wastewater Collection System Master Plan that identifies strategies for planning, budgeting, maintaining, and improving the Estero Municipal Improvement District's water and wastewater systems based on current demands, future growth, and emergency situations. At the conclusion of each study, a prioritized Capital Improvement Project Plan (CIP) with detailed descriptions and cost estimates shall be prepared for a 20-year period based on the findings.

Request for Proposals (RFPs) to provide professional engineering services for both the Water Distribution System Master Plan Study and the Wastewater Collection System Master Plan Study were received from qualified engineering firms on March 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm. On May 15, 2017, the District Board awarded a contract to HydroScience Engineers, Inc. to perform both studies.
