Street Rehabilitation Project (CIP 301-663)

project description

The project consists of repair work for various streets and the removal of brick pavers and concrete bands on Chess Drive. The pavers will be replaced with hot asphalt concrete. The work includes, without limitation, providing all labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform work specified by the Plans and Specifications, which also includes but is not limited to the following: procurement and installation of material for traffic control, edge grinding, full width grinding, full depth asphalt repairs, removal of brick pavers, pavement markings, minor grade adjustment of various existing utility box frames and grates on existing streets, installation of concrete curb ramps, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, bituminous crack sealing, slurry sealing, root barriers, and restriping (including bike lanes and sharrows).

The City of Foster City/Estero Municipal Improvement District invited bids for the Street Rehabilitation Project (CIP 301-663). Bids were to be submitted in a sealed envelope to City Hall, located at 610 Foster City Boulevard, Foster City, CA 94404. The deadline to submit was Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
