Description
In February 2021, the Board awarded the consultant agreement for professional engineering services to BKF Engineers. The plans and specifications for this Project were completed in May 2024. This Project is scheduled to go to the Board on July 15, 2024 for approval of Plans & Specifications and to authorize a call for bids.
The City of Foster City invites bids for the Lift Station 59 Effluent Line Improvements Project starting on July 16, 2024. The Engineer's Estimate for the project is approximately $1.3 million.
The City will receive sealed bids at the City Clerk's office, located at 610 Foster City Boulevard, Foster City, CA 94404. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 10:30 am at the Foster City Corporation Yard. The deadline for questions is Tuesday, August 13, 2024. The deadline to submit bids is Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
Due to long lead time for specialty items, groundbreaking activity is anticipated to begin in Summer 2025 and will take four months.
