It’s back! After a 30-year hiatus, the Rubber Ducky Race is returning to Foster City as part of the community’s ongoing 50th Anniversary celebrations. On Saturday, September 25, everyone is invited to the Foster City Lagoon for a day of honoring Foster City’s rich past and celebrating its bright future.

 

Request for Proposals - Mobile Food Truck Concession

Interested parties are invited to submit proposals that meet submittal requirements to provide a Mobile Food Truck Concession at Leo J. Ryan Memorial Park in the City of Foster City starting in Spring 2022.  Complete Request for Proposals is linked below.

Approved Life Preservers

To participate in the Rubber Ducky Raft Race, you will need to have a Coast Guard approved life preserver.  We will not have these available to rent, so all members of your race teams must bring one to the event.  Below are some options of approved life preservers you can bring to the event:

Food Options

There will be food available for purchase throughout the day at the Rubber Ducky Race.

Breakfast will be provided by the Bair Island Cyber Lions club, and they will be selling the popular Hawaiian breakfast known as a Loco Moco.  Breakfast will be sold from 8am until 12pm.

Rubber Ducky Race Concert in the Park

To conclude the Rubber Ducky Race Day, there will be a free concert in Leo Ryan Park Amphitheatre. The concert will begin immediately following the Closing Ceremony at 4pm.
