PG&E Gas Pipeline Replacement Project - Shell Cove

PG&E will be working in the Shell Cove and Edgewater Townhome communities for a pipeline replacement project to improve the safety and reliability of the natural gas system. Approximately 8,000 feet of 2-inch gas distribution main and 267 service lines will be replaced/relocated for homes on the following streets:

Aquarius Lane       Celestial Lane       Cygnus Lane         Draco Lane

Gemini Lane          Hydra Lane            Libra Lane             Neptune Court

Orion Lane             Pavo Lane             Pegasus Lane       Pisces Lane

Polaris Lane          Rigel Lane             Scorpio Lane          

Portions of Altair Avenue, East Hillsdale Blvd, and Polaris Avenue will also be impacted by this work.

The project is anticipated to start in early May 2022 and should be completed by early to mid 2023. Work activities will be limited to the hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Weather and other factors affecting safe working conditions may change the project's schedule.

PG&E will contact homeowners prior to the start of work. Parking and driveway access may be affected, but onsite crews will be available to help facilitate access to the driveway. Please observe all posted traffic signs through the construction zone for safety of the public and PG&E workers.
