Are you an expert in finance and a dedicated Foster City resident? We have a great opportunity for you to serve your community! Now through August 13, 2020, the City of Foster City is accepting applications to fill one (1) vacancy on the Audit Committee. 

As a committee member, you’ll be in the unique position to advise the City Council regarding the selection of independent auditors, the review of the annual audit process and financial statements, and other financial matters as requested by the Council. The vacancy is for a partial term from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2022. The Audit Committee typically meets twice each year, in April and November. 

The City encourages all interested residents to submit applications by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020. Applicants must be Foster City residents and are required to attend the September 8, 2020 City Council Meeting for consideration of official appointment. Subject to the COVID-19 situation, applicants may be invited to join the meeting via teleconference.
