Power Outage – Some City Facilities Closed January 31, 2020

There has been a power outage due to PG&E work on Hillsdale Boulevard between Shell Boulevard and Foster City Boulevard. The outage is affecting 101 customers, including Foster City City Hall, the Library and Senior Center and The VIBE. Please note that City Hall will be closed for business for the remainder of the day, January 31, 2020. The Senior Center and The VIBE are closed, but the Recreation Center is still in operation.
The Police Department and Fire Department have not been impacted and will be providing their normal services. The traffic signal at Foster Square Lane and Shell Boulevard may also be impacted starting at 4-6 p.m.
There are repair crews at the location, and according to PG&E, power is expected to be restored by 10:30 p.m. this evening. We will continue to provide updates as we receive them.
