PG&E Gas Line Replacement Project

Starting Monday, October 22, 2018, PG&E will be upgrading approximately 1,370 feet of 8-inch gas main and services to businesses on Foster City Boulevard from Chess Drive to Vintage Park Drive. A majority of the work will be on the southbound lanes of Foster City Boulevard.

The project is anticipated to start on October 22, 2018 and should be completed in January 2019. Work activities will be limited to the hours between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, to avoid commute traffic. Weather and other factors affecting safe working conditions may change the project schedule.

PG&E will contact surrounding businesses prior to start of work. Parking and driveway access may be affected, but an onsite crew will be available to help facilitate access to the driveways. Please observe all posted traffic signs through the construction zone for safety of the public and the workers. If you have any questions, please call Public Works Engineering at (650) 286-3270.
