Do you have an interest in law enforcement, love the Foster City Police Department, or just want to get to know our local officers better? If so, the Community Police Academy is for you! The deadline to sign up has been extended to Monday, February 3, 2020. The free, interactive 8-week course provides an inside look at local law enforcement for an experience that educates community members and offers transparency on how the FCPD operates. Through a combination of presentations and interactive scenarios, participants will gain an in-depth understanding of how local police officers serve our community everyday.

Class topics include:

  • Patrol Activities & Procedures
  • Investigations
  • Traffic/Driver Safety
  • Crime Prevention
  • Station Tour

The academy starts on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 and meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Participants must be at least 18 years old and either reside or work in Foster City. Enroll now, as space is limited!
