Join Your Friends and Neighbors at Outdoor Movie Night

Feel the need for speed while enjoying the blockbuster hit “Top Gun: Maverick,” at Outdoor Movie Night on Thursday, November 10, in the Leo Ryan Park amphitheater from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The free event taking place the evening before Veteran’s Day will feature food trucks and concessions available for sale on site. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs for comfortable seating. No registration is necessary to attend, and seating is first come, first serve. As a courtesy to others, please do not leave unattended items to reserve seating.

“We are delighted to be hosting the Outdoor Movie Night this year in Leo Ryan Park and hope the entire Foster City community comes together to enjoy this film with their friends, family, and neighbors,” said Parks and Recreation Director Derek Schweigart.

“Top Gun,” released in 2022, stars Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer, and Miles Teller. The film is rated PG-13 and follows the story of Cruise as Naval fighter pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. It is one of the highest-grossing films of all time, and sequel to the 1986 film “Top Gun.”

Restrooms in Leo Ryan Park will be open during the show. Additionally, the movie is a smoke-free event and attendees are encouraged to be mindful of cleaning up after the show by using the trash and recycling receptacles.
