Foster City Community Garden

Foster City is proud to support the Community Garden program, in collaboration with the Community Garden Association, Island United Church, and the Rotary Club of Foster City. Foster City residents are invited to apply for a 32-square-foot plot in the garden located on the property of the Island United Church at 1130 Balclutha Drive. 

There are 16 plots available, and if interest exceeds capacity, a lottery may need to be held to select plot holders. The cost for a plot is $150 for one year (plus a $50 refundable deposit), and applications are due Monday, February 21. The garden will open Tuesday, April 1. 

Those interested must initially review the garden policy and regulations and submit the signed waiver form on the last page along with a plot application to be considered for a plot. If an applicant is selected for a plot, they will be contacted and sent a plot agreement form to submit along with payment.  

Please submit all completed forms via email to the Community Garden Association at communitygardenfc@gmail.com. Payment via checks can be made payable to "City of Foster City" and submitted at The Vibe Teen Center, 670 Shell Boulevard. 

Community members, businesses, and local organizations area also invited to contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of the garden. Community support helps us preserve this beautiful space for everyone to enjoy. To make an online donation to the Community Garden Foundation, click here.
