Diane Pitman Hired as Foster City Administrative Services Director

Foster City is excited to announce that Diane Pitman has been named Administrative Services Director. Since August, she has been serving as Interim Director of the department comprised of Information Technology and Human Resources divisions, and will assume the permanent position beginning Monday, October 16.
“Since coming to Foster City, Diane has been a tremendous addition to our executive leadership team,” said City Manager Stefan Chatwin. “Her familiarity and experience will be invaluable as we look to assure that the City’s employees have continued access to the tools and environment needed to provide our community the best possible service.”
Diane has over 30 years of Human Resources experience, including labor and employee relations, leadership development, benefits, and strategic planning. Most of her career has been spent with public agencies in California, including serving most recently as the Human Resources Director for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. She has a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Claremont Graduate University.
