Alternatives to Lawns Workshop

Lush green lawns have long been the anchor of outdoor landscaping. However, with today's focus on protecting our natural resources, many homeowners are choosing alternatives. A lawn has a negative impact on the environment, and in this era of continuing drought, a lawn is the thirstiest crop. Thirsty translates to higher water bill. This seminar will show you how to plant a beautiful landscape with significantly lower water bills. This workshop will be run by Frank Niccoli, who teaches at Foothill College, and it is free to attend.
