The Estero Municipal Improvement District (EMID) requested proposals (RFP) from qualified engineering firms to provide professional engineering services for both the Water Distribution System Master Plan Study and the Wastewater Collection System Master Plan Study. At the conclusion of each of the studies, a prioritized Capital Improvement Project Plan (CIP) with detail descriptions and cost estimates shall be prepared for a 20-year period based on the findings.
The goal is to develop a comprehensive Water Distribution System Master Plan and a Wastewater Collection System Master Plan that identifies strategies for planning, budgeting, maintaining, and improving EMID's water and wastewater systems based on current demands, future growth, and emergency situations.
Consultant could submit proposals for one or both Master Plan Studies. Consultant was free to include any tasks they believed were important and should be part of the study. EMID may select one or two firm(s) to develop both Master Plan Studies.
Request for Proposals closed on March 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm, and proposals are undergoing review. If you have any questions, please contact Lawrence Tam, Assistant Engineer, at (650) 286-3275.
