ReThinkWaste Annouces the Winners of the 2017 "Trash to Art" Contest

RethinkWaste is excited to announce the winners of its 5th annual "Trash to Art" Contest, which was open to all 3rd through 5th grade classes and individual students in the RethinkWaste service area. The contest challenged students and teachers to give trash a new meaning by creating artwork of any medium using material collected from home, school, and everyday life. A total of 6 classes and 20 individual students submitted entries.

The winners will be recognized at RethinkWaste's annual "Earth Day@Shoreway" event on Saturday, April 8th, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Shoreway Environmental Center in San Carlos.
