Foster City Parks Master Plan
The Foster City’s Parks System consists of 24 parks, eight miles of levee pedway, and various other public open spaces. Despite continuous maintenance and improvements, many of the City’s parks are aging, requiring renewed attention to park infrastructure to ensure the parks system remains relevant and continues to meet resident needs now and in the future.
The Parks & Recreation Department has launched a Park Master Plan to guide the development, maintenance, and funding of the community’s parks and recreational facilities and programs for decades to come. The Department is leading this planning effort with the help of a consultant team to facilitate the project and write the plan.
