As part of the ongoing commitment to providing residents and community members the highest and best level of service, the reopening of City Hall in Foster City has been accelerated for Monday, July 26. City Hall will reopen for walk-ins during its regular business hours between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday through Friday. Based on staffing hours, counter hours will be posted and some services may still be available by appointment only. The City will also continue to offer online services such as scheduling inspections, online permitting, paying utility bills, and more. Members of the public who are unvaccinated will be required to wear a mask during visits to City Hall, while masks will be optional to those who are vaccinated. It is not necessary to show proof of vaccination when visiting.

“We are very excited to reopen our beautiful City facilities to the public, which will allow us to provide an in-person option for those seeking an alternative to accessing services online,” said City Manager Peter Pirnejad.

Looking ahead, the Recreation Center will reopen and begin offering indoor programs again starting Monday, August 9. Some programs may be reintroduced in phases, to ensure safety for the program participants and public. Masks will be required to enter the Recreation Center, per State regulations, as the facility is a designated childcare center.
