Citizen Advisory Committees
An important component of the City's policy-making structure is its various Committees that recommend and advise the Council on special issues.  Civic-minded volunteers are appointed by the City Council, usually for a term of three years for Committee members and four years for Planning Commissioners. Appointments are made in December of each year to fill expiring terms for Committee members, in May for Planning Commissioners as well as during the year to fill partial terms.

All meetings are open to the public.
