Question: Who handles Animal Control issues in the City?

Answer: The City contracts with the County of San Mateo for animal control. The County currently contracts with the Peninsula Humane Society handle lost pets, dead animals, and other related issues on Foster City streets. Animals found along the highways (e.g., US101, SR92, etc.) are handled by Caltrans, who can be contacted at (650) 358-4127.
